Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson

Wes Anderson is one of our favorite directors in both feature film and advertising. We especially appreciate his writing and art directing skills. With Moonrise Kingdom he’s yet again sketched a stylized version of the real world, thought through to the tiniest, quirkiest detail in the classic Anderson style. Anderson’s characters and stories have a certain bittersweetness you’re not likely to see from anyone else. Also check out the fairly odd fairytale-like film poster and the film’s website, which we’ve posted below.

Flight of the Frenchies

Just watch the video and you’ll feel what we mean. In your stomach – that is. So maybe not during lunchtime. We advice you to download the full movie anyway.   Sebastien Montaz-Rosset portrays people with a passion for life without fear and isn’t much of a chicken himself. So what’s the message? Face your fears. Whatever they are. Spirituality from the edge of a cliff. Now jump. Or click – coward.
